This painting was made as an
offering and a love letter. This is
the write-up that accompanies it:
“This is for the nights we spent running after everything we never thought we'd lose. For the sunsets we'd run after, too caught up in the way the sky changes its colours to remember to take a photo. Some memories cannot be captured in photographs. This is for the night we lay on the roof looking for stars in the city – a hopeless endeavour, but we kept hoping and searching anyway.
And though it burnt us as we watched the world end, I'd still run, chasing comets with you.”
